A normal backlog calculator estimates how long the pile takes at your current pace. This one reverses the question: if you want the backlog gone by a birthday, holiday, new console launch or the end of the year, how many hours of backlog gaming do you actually need each week?
How the calculation works
Remaining hours are estimated from the number of games, average game length and average progress already completed. Those hours are divided by the number of weeks between today and your target date. The result is the weekly backlog time needed to meet the deadline.
